We have always loved staying at boutique hotels and enjoying the finer things in life; now we have dogs and children we prefer the ease and freedom of a holiday cottage but do not see why the self-catering experience means we should forego the luxury of a boutique hotel experience!
We want our guests to feel spoiled when they come and stay in a Wynsum cottage - your time away is precious and we want you to fall in love with our holiday homes just as we have.

Who we are
Our story
Before we started Wynsum, we have both run our own businesses for two decades - Andrew is in IT, Tiffany in Montessori education - and so we both know how important it is to take time out to “get away” and rest. It was this that led us to look for a place of our own in beautiful Suffolk.
When we found Garden Lodge and Mole End they were a first floor flat that hadn’t been touched since the 60s with garaging, cart lodges and storage below. They needed a lot of love! But with the help of a local architect and a team of brilliant craftsmen and women lead by Southwold’s own Marcus Knight we transformed them into the two lovely cottages they are today.
We wanted them to be luxurious but homely, so every aspect of the properties from furnishings to decor to the fixtures and fittings reflect this high-end comfort.
We are very proud that both properties have earned Suffolk’s only Five Star Platinum rating for self-catering.
We also wanted them to be places people would want to stay year round, so they are just as cosy and welcoming in the wettest of weathers or coldest of winters. We hope you enjoy your stay with Wynsum.
